The Best Tip for Parents: Kid Podcasts

Not many parents know about kid podcasts, which is why it is the one tip for parents that I always give.

Here are some of my favorite ways to use kid podcasts:

  • When I’m running errands with the kids so they aren’t whining about being bored the whole time
  • On road trips so that they aren’t asking my every five minutes if we’re there yet
  • When I need a minute to take a breath and regroup, I’ll grab an easy activity like a coloring page or a sensory bin, turn on a kid podcast and they will be content for 30 minutes or more
  • If I ever need my kiddo to sit still, while I’m trying to floss their teeth or cut their finger nails, I’ll turn on a kid podcast and they will stay still while I quickly do whatever needs to be done

These aren’t the only ways to use a kid podcasts, there are so many more ways to use them, this list just scratches the surface, which is why it is my favorite tip for parents.
