The show description is: Hey everyone, this is Melissa and I am the talkative introvert. As the title suggests, I am very much an introvert, but I love to talk. And what better place for a talkative introvert than a podcast? You’ll find episodes about introversion, body dysmorphia, personality types, emotional energy, and so much more. Every episode is a little something different. So if you’re the type of person who enjoys listening to casual conversations, then this is the podcast for.
The length of each episode varies greatly with some episodes being as short as 25 minutes and others being as long as two hours, the solo episodes are kid ear friendly. But Melissa says that the episodes with her friends may have strong language. So you may wanna keep that in mind when you’re listening. The show is ongoing with new episodes available every other Monday.

Introduction to Meliza & The Talkative Introvert
I currently live in Sacramento, California with my husband, Brandon, our Corgie link. And by day I’m a IT analyst, which is like the boring part of me. And then I do the podcast as a hobby, like on my, on the side.
How The Talkative Introvert Came to Be
So it kind of started with The pandemic. So like everyone, you know, was on lockdown. And my cousin also used to have a YouTube channel and I was like, you know what topic you should do? Cuz her she’s an extrovert all the way, a hundred percent.
And all her topics were like on or her videos were all about like places she’s been to and traveling and stuff like that. And she didn’t know what content to do right now. Cause everything was. During, you know, in 2020, and then I was like, you should do an episode about how the pandemic is for introverts versus extroverts
And so we never did it but, but she’s like, you should really do your podcast because like I had so many topics I wanted to talk about and there were just more, you know, conversation rather than like YouTube videos. Mm-hmm and so I had nothing else to do. Everyone was stuck at home. I got the podcast going.
What to Expect from The Talkative Introvert
So the podcast really started heavily on introversion and I highly resonate as an introvert and I think there’s a lot of misconceptions and I just kind of wanted to talk a lot about that because I’m, I’m very introverted. Like I highly resonate with it. I identify as it, like, I love being an introvert too. But I wanted people to know that. You know, we’re not just a bunch of like shy, quiet, depressed, lonely people.
And we do actually have fun. And we do have like, some of us really do love to talk. And so I wanted to talk about that and really it’s kind of just. It’s kind of grown to just be more casual conversations. So it’s kind of gone more from informational to like more entertainment, but still like, introvert’s still a big part of it. Like I have guests lined up and I think all of them, except for one is an introvert. ,
The Vibe of The Talkative Introvert
First of all, sorry for the audio, because I started off using like my gaming headset and I didn’t get a mic until like way later. But it was solo at first and it was just information about introverts and like the different types of introverts, stuff like that, but really it’s grown more to be just casual conversations with people.
So it’s very, just relaxed. I had a listener reach out and she said that she loved the casualness of it because it felt like what she would have the podcast on when she’s like doing dishes or chores. And she felt like she was like in the conversation. So, you know, just very chill, relaxed.
Meliza’s Favorite Episode
So, I turned 30 this year and my friends surprised me with a trip. And they didn’t tell me what to pack, where we’re going, what we’re doing, which I really hate. But, you know, I went with it, but they did tell me to bring my podcast here.
So I was like, okay, cool. And so that whole episode was like in a cabin in lake Tahoe with my closest friends and just us chatting and having a conversation. And I think that’s my favorite so far.
The Talkative Introvert & Little Ears
I think the solo ones probably are okay. Cuz I don’t really swear, like just in general, but my friends do, So the ones with those? Probably not.
